Personal information - born on 30 November 1942 in Paludzke, district. Liptovský Mikuláš. Education and qualifications 1965 Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, Bratislava, with honors 1969 attestation of ophthalmology, grade I 1978 attestation of ophthalmology, II. level 1977 - PhD thesis on the theme of Child uveitis 1996 defense of habilitation thesis on the topic Intrauterine bodies 1997 appointed as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology 2002 appointed as professor of ophthalmology Occupation and professional activity 1965 - until now physician, Department of Ophthalmology LFUK and FN Bratislava, now UNB 1981 - 1997 Deputy Head of the Ophthalmology Clinic, LFUK and FN Bratislava 1997 - 2011 Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, LFUK and FN Bratislava, now UNB He worked as a regional expert, as well as the main expert of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic for ophthalmology.
Research Interest
Professional focus - ophthalmology: problems of diabetic retinopathy, chronic intraocular inflammation, lens surgery, traumatology of the eye, vitreous and retinal surgery.
