Biography
Doctor Juraj HaliÄka finished his PhD. studies at the Institute of Pathological Physiology at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, and started working as an ophthalmologist. During his doctoral studies he was very interested in neuroscientific research and continues to focus on this area. At the UVEA Mediklinik ophthalmological clinic, he concentrates on the research and treatment of amblyopia using the 3D virtual reality of the Oculus Rift.
