Biography
Doctor Rastislav Vida finished his university studies in 1998 at the Faculty of Medicine at Palacký University in Olomouc. After graduating he started working at the Ophthalmology Clinic in Banská Bystrica, where he stayed until 2015. He took his specialty board exams in ophthalmology in 2001 and 2007. He specializes in diagnostics and the treatment of ailments of the retina and vitreous body. Since 2009 he has been working as a vitreoretinal surgeon. He routinely performs cataract surgeries and is also devoted to refractive laser surgery.
