Mudr. Jaroslav Nikel

Biography

Doctor Jaroslav Nikes is a long-term specialist in cataract and excimer laser-assisted procedures. He graduated from Jessenius Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Martin in 1989, and has been running ophthalmologic surgical practice in Slovakia and Czech Republic since 2005. Doctor Nikel has been specializing in refractive surgery since 1995. Specifically, he focuses on anterior eye segment surgeries, including cornea transplantations. He gained a lot of experience at the ophthalmologic clinic in Banská Bystrica, where he worked until 2009. He is a member of the Slovak Opthalmological Society, Slovak Medical Chamber, and Czech Medical Chamber.
