Biography
Dahlia joined the Group board in July 2010. She is a holder of a PHD from the University of Capetown on the thesis “The characterization of XVSAP1, a gene isolated from the resurrection plant Xerophyta Viscosa Baker and its expression in transgenic plants". She also holds an MSc degree in Biotechnology form the University of Zimbabwe as well as a BSc (Hon) degree in Biochemistry from the same University. Dahlia's areas of expertise include GMO screening and testing, molecular characterization and diagnostics, implementation and enforcement of ISO 17025 Quality Management System and tissue culture techniques. She has held various posts in research institutions in Zimbabwe and is currently the Assistant General Manager for the Tobacco Research Board. 27
