Igle Gledhill
CSIR principal researcher
physics
CSIR Biosciences
South Africa
Biography
Gledhill specialises in computational fluid dynamics for transonic flow, prediction of aerodynamic loads on accelerating bodies, and the prediction of safe store release from aircraft. She is also interested in the comparison of wind tunnel and other predictive methods, discrete element methods, and properties of non-linear optical materials, as well as modelling of air combat and air warfare. Further research includes computational chemistry, molecular dynamics, rational drug design, lattice gases and cellular automata.
