Biography
Mokonyama leads the transport systems and operations area at the CSIR. He holds a degree in cvil engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand as well as a Master’s and PhD in transportation engineering from the University of Pretoria. He has previously worked for the City of Johannesburg and in private civil engineering consultancy in the areas of transport planning, transport modelling, traffic engineering and development engineering.
Research Interest
Mokonyama’s research interests are methodologies for translating society’s transport-related needs into appropriate transport policy, designs, plans and associated management systems.
