Biography
Tlotleng holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering Science from the University of Johannesburg. He has published numerous scientific papers and two book chapters. He is currently working on the development of titanium aluminide alloys using laser in-situ processing for the aerospace industries.
Research Interest
Tlotleng’s research interests focus on laser materials processing using powder-blown and 3D printing. The main focus is on functional graded materials and metal matrixes.
