Biography
Hoosain holds an MSc degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand. He joined the CSIR in 2016. His interests and experience lie in welding, wear and corrosion solutions, additive manufacturing, engineering materials and metallurgy.
Research Interest
Hoosain’s research interests focus on developing laser-based technologies and additive or 3D-manufacturing for applications in industrial manufacturing and refurbishment.
