Biography
Moolla is a senior researcher specialising in identity authentication as part of the CSIR’s research and development in information security. His work focuses on the development of a contactless subsurface fingerprint acquisition device based on optical coherence tomography technology; contactless non-destructive acquisition of latent fingerprints; the acquisition and matching of biometric information from infants and minors; and signature verification.
Research Interest
Moolla’s research interests are biometrics, fingerprinting, security, image processing, machine learning and pattern recognition, as well as geoinformatics.
