Biography
Peninah Waweru is a Research Assistant at IBM Research-Africa working in the Public Sector Services group. Her work primarily focuses on leveraging modern data mining techniques to obtain knowledge and new insights from data sets to inform solutions development. She also participates in software development. Prior to working in the Public Sector Services group, she worked in the Water & Agriculture team assisting in research and data analysis. Peninah Waweru earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (2015).
