Biography
David Scott is the Managing Principal of Ramboll Environ Africa and has more than 20 years of experience in environmental consultancy. He has over 10 years’ experience leading due diligence teams and directing environmental and engineering projects (especially in the oil and gas sector) throughout the UK, EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas. David specialises in environmental merger, acquisition and divestiture auditing, the determination of land condition, risk prioritisation, and liability and mitigation measures to provide cost effective environmental and engineering solutions during various stages of transactions. In addition, he assists clients with the post-acquisition process of environmental integration of a target company or the local country’s compliance requirements. David has extensive experience in the corporate and industrial sectors across the world as well as with the US Federal Government, throughout all stages of commercial transactions and compliance. He holds a BTech in Business Management (Marketing) and a Diploma in Geophysics and Geology.
