Biography
Bruce Biccard is an anaesthesiologist and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Kwazulu-Natal. His principle area of practice is vascular anaesthesia. His research interests include the epidemiology of cardiovascular disease, perioperative cardiovascular risk prediction and risk modification, perioperative medicine and surgical outcomes. He is the Director of the Perioperative Research Group, Department of Anaesthetics, Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, where national and international collaborative cardiovascular research is conducted.
