He is an Associate Professor in University of Pretoria, SA. He has received several awards in his career such as UP Accounting Education and Innovation – Teaching Recognition Award in 2008, UP Exceptional Young Researcher – 2014 and National Research Foundation (NRF) rated researcher (Y1 category).
