She is a Head of Department& Professor in Department of Food Science, University of Pretoria,SA. She is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. She is the member of many international affiliations. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.

Research Interest

In my research area we are focusing on the effect that food processing has on the adaptation of pathogenic and spoilage bacteria. As well as the changes expressed on a molecular level, while also assessing the effect of the greater bacterial ecology in the food matrix.
