Biography
Jackie is a member of faculty at GIBS where she teaches management and leadership skills. She also practices as an independent consultant and executive coach. She brings high levels of commercial acumen, systemic thinking and pragmatism to her work. Jackie has worked with a range of employees ranging from first line supervisors to C-level executives. Her work has thus far spanned the Financial services, FMCG, Manufacturing, Technology, Professional services, ICT, Media, Industrial, Energy, Construction, Petrochemical, Automotive, Wholesale & Retail, Agro Processing, Business services, Logistics, Higher Education, Public Sector, State Owned Enterprises (SEO’s) and NGO spheres. More recently she kicked off a series of initiatives to encourage learning experiences through other than traditional face-to-face methods (e.g. online, e-learning & blended learning programmes). Jackie originally trained as a commercial attorney and worked as an investment banker and later general manager for most of her corporate career. She still has a number of entrepreneurial interests.
