Marion (jjm) Meyer

Biography

He is a Professor in Department of Plant and Soil Sciences, University of Pretoria,SA. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. He is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He collaborates with several international institutions, including the ITMO St Petersburg University.

Research Interest

Prof Marion Meyer’s main research interest is in the isolation, identification and mode of action of secondary compounds from medicinal and poisonous plants. Several novel compounds with bioactivity on erectile dysfunction, malaria, tuberculosis and other pathogenic bacteria and viruses have been isolated from traditionally used plants.
