Riette Ackermann

Biography

Riëtte is currently managing her own consultancy, Change Pace, with a focus on personal and professional development through coaching, facilitation, and the design and project management of learning and development interventions. Prior to this, she was employed full time at GIBS as a Senior Programme Manager in the Custom Programmes department where she worked with organisations to design, develop and deliver leadership development programmes at various levels within the client organisation, and managed a team of Programme Managers and Coordinators.  Riëtte also managed a team of learning and development specialists as Learning and Development Manager at the financial services and home loan specialist organisation, ooba, in Cape Town previously. She has been involved in corporate learning and development since 1997 both here in South Africa and in the United Kingdom. Her work experience includes design and development of programmes and course material, group facilitation, executive coaching, individual counselling, and administration of psychometric assessments (registered with the HPCSA).
