Biography
Doctor Suzanne Bester is a senior lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology. She has 16 years of experience in higher education and as an educational psychologist. She coordinates the practicum and day to day functioning of the training facility in the department. She is the coordinator of the Educational Psychology practice 800 (OPR 800) module, internships for educational psychologists-in-training, and Education 122 (OPV 122). She is responsible for clinical supervision of MEd (Educational Psychology) students and oversees the psychometric training of both the Masters and Honours students. Doctor Bester publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals and scholarly books, and disseminates her work at national and international conferences. She also supervises Masters and Doctoral students’ research dissertations and theses in Educational Psychology as well as Learning Support, Guidance and Counselling.
Research Interest
Her research interest focuses on dynamic and alternative assessment and interventions in Educational Psychology.
