She is a Professor in Department of Microbiology & Plant Pathology, University of Pretoria,SA. She is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. She is the member of many international affiliations. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
Research Interest
My research programme focuses on plant pathogenic bacteria. The hosts include plantation tree species, native and fruit trees occurring in Southern Africa. Over the past 5 years, the programme has focused on developing a molecular method for distinguishing between genera of plant pathogenic bacteria as well as identifying new species.
