Biography
Tronel Joubert is a permanent full-time lecturer in the Department of Mercantile Law. She holds the degrees LLB and LLM Corporate Law from the University of Pretoria. Tronel is currently registered for her LLD at UNISA. She was appointed as a temporary part-time lecturer in the Department of Mercantile Law in 2001 and as a permanent full-time lecturer in 2007. She has lectured on a number of subjects within the Department of Mercantile Law which inter alia include Business Law; Commercial Law; Specific Contracts; Entrepreneurial Law; Insolvency Law, Negotiable Instruments; Insurance Law; Transnational Business Law and Liquidations and Business Rescue.
Research Interest
Her main areas of specialisation are Entrepreneurial Law, Insolvency Law and Business Rescue.
