Biography
He is a Professor in Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, University of Pretoria,SA. He is also Director, CNES (CENTRE OF NEW ENERGY SYSTEMS) & Director, National Hub for Postgraduate Programme in Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. He is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
Research Interest
His research interest topics are Energy optimisation and management, Non-linear feedback control, complex systems, sampled-data feedback control, observer design, modelling and control of HIV/AIDS, heavy haul trains, river/dam network systems, delta-modulated feedback systems, chaotic systems. He also has interest on Observability and observation of nonlinear systems, feedback linearization and decoupling of nonlinear systems, dynamic feedback control of nonlinear systems, output feedback control of nonlinear systems, output regulation of nonlinear systems, sampling and simulation of control systems, identifiability of nonlinear (time-delay) systems, periodic orbits arising from delta-modulation and delta-modulated feedbackÂ
