Biography
Ms Chinnian is currently enrolled for her doctoral studies, completing a thesis which examines the patriarchal nature of refugee law in South Africa, using feminist theory to reconceptualise the refugee laws and processes. Ms Chinnian’s general research interests are in human rights, gender rights feminist theory.
