Biography
Dr. Nestor Abdala is HONORARY READER of Evolutionary Studies Institute at University of Witwatersrand. He has keen interest in Evolution of Permo-Triassic mammal-like therapsid; Triassic biostratigraphy; ontogeny of the skull of living marsupials.
Research Interest
He is interested in the evolution of mammalness through the study of therapsid fossils, in particular advanced forms such as non-mammaliaform cynodonts and therocephalian. He also study biostratigraphical correlations of Triassic Gondwanan faunas and ontognetic changes in the skull of living marsupials.
