Biography
Glynis Goodman is an associate professor of School of Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences at Wits University, Johannesburg, South Africa. Her research interests include the patterns and processes of diversification of plants, particularly in the Eastern Mountain Region of South Africa, systematics of African plants (especially the Asteraceae), and the genetic variation and phylogeography of alien invasive species. She is also interested in the biodiversity and floristics of the Drakensberg region and its connections with the afromontane archipelago.

She has keen interest in research areas such as Systematics, Phytogeography, Science Education.
