Héctor Díez

Biography

  He studied Biology at the “Universidad del Pais Vasco” (first cycle) and at the “Universidad Complutense de Madrid” (second cycle, specialisation in neurobiology). He obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 at the “Centro de Biologia Molecular  Severo Ochoa” (CSIC/UAM, Madrid, Spain), working on the effect of the kinase Akt on the development of cultured neurons, under the supervision of Dr. Francisco Wandosell

Research Interest

  researcher in Dr. Àngels Garcia-Cazorla’s group at the FSJD (Esplugues-Barcelona, Spain), where he works in the characterization of the mutations implicated in Tyrosine Hydroxylase Deficiencies and Rett Syndrome in cell culture systems.
