Antonio García Ferrer

Biography

Born in Madrid in 1945, he holds a degree in Civil engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Class of 1971. Professional experience: He joined Dragados as a student in 1970 and subsequently worked as site manager for various jobs in the peninsula, until he was named Civil Engineering Works Director in Madrid and subsequently Director of the Central Region for Dragados until 1997. Later he was appointed Director of Construction Works in Spain until 2001, when he became Director-general of Industrial Works and Environmental Services. In 2002 he was appointed Chairman of the Dragados Group until December 2003 when, following the merger with ACS, he became the Executive Vice Chairman of the ACS Group.
