Biography
Dr. Bonaventura Clotet was Head of the HIV Unit of the Hospital Germans Trias between 1987 and 2015, when he became Head of the Infectious Diseases Department. He is also Director of the Retrovirology Laboratory “IrsiCaixa” Foundation, since 1995, and President of the “Lluita contra la SIDA” Foundation since 1992. Since 2006, he is co-director of the HIVACAT project for the development of the AIDS vaccine in Catalonia, Spain.
