Biography
Ph.D. in Industrial Microbiology from the University College Dublin (UCD), National University of Ireland (Republic of Ireland). Postdoctoral position at the University of Georgia, Georgia (U.S.A.) in Genetics and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts (U.S.A.). Senior Research Associate at DNAX Research Institute, and Medical Research Fellow at Stanford University both in Palo Alto (California, U.S.A.). He is currently Senior Researcher at the Hospital Universitario N. S. de la Candelaria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife, Spain). His present research interests are in the molecular genetics and diagnostics of human diseases.
