Biography
Prior to joining the North American biopharmaceutical company, Espinalt was CEO of the Medical-Surgical Area at Palex Medical, a leading healthcare marketplace in advanced hospital solutions. Previously, he also held various positions at Amgen SA, as director of the Business Unit of Nephrology, forming part of the Management Committee of the company in Spain, Director of Marketing and Sales Operations and Director of Large Accounts Management. With 20 years of experience in the sector, Espinalt has a great knowledge of the Spanish market and joins Alexion Pharma Spain to provide its leadership and global vision of the business to contribute to the success of the Spanish subsidiary. Born in Santpedor (Barcelona), he holds a degree in Computer Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Master's Degree in Economics and Business Management at the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra.
