Biography
Dr. Martin Pöhlchen gained a PhD in chemistry at the Ruhr University of Bochum. He has over 20 years of experience in general management, licensing, business & corporate development, sales & marketing, private & public corporate finance, strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and R&D management, including drug & regulatory development.
Research Interest
Among his professional experience are roles as Co-founder at Sinfonie Life Science Management GmbH, CEO of Revotar and Pieris, Vice President BD at MediGene and European Commercial Director at Tripos (Now Certara). He has advised transactions exceeding €400m in total value. In 2004 he was honored as one of the finalists of the “Deutscher Zukunftspreis”, the Federal President’s Award for Technology and Innovation. Martin started to collaborate with Alira Health in 2016.
