Biography
Dr. Peter Heinrich studied biology and chemistry at Munich University where he received a PhD in biochemistry and was a post-doc scientist at Harvard University. He has over 20 years of experience in pharma and biotech industry in R&D, drug development, licensing, new drug commercialization and business & corporate development and general management. He has been directly involved in start-up ventures, as well as publicly-held entities, improving shareholder value, and M&A agreements.
Research Interest
He is a serial entrepreneur, serving as a Co-founder at Sinfonie Life Science Management GmbH, Co-founder and CEO of MediGene AG and others. He was also CEO of MagForce AG. He is Co-founder and Chairman of BIO Deutschland, Member of the Board at EuropaBio, and he was Chairman and Board Member of the European Emerging Biopharmaceutical Enterprises. Since 2017 he is also member of the board of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the voice of the German industry. He has advised on transactions exceeding €1bn in total value. Peter started to collaborate with Alira Health in 2016.
