Biography
Mr. Jorge Gallardo Ballart serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almirall, S.A. Previously, he acted as Chief Executive Officer of the Company until March 17, 2011, and was Executive Member of the Company's Board until July 1, 2011. He joined the Company on November 1, 1965, and has been on the Company's Board since June 30, 1997. He is also Member of the Company's Nominating and Remuneration Committee. He has served as Administrator of Almirall, BV, Almirall AG, Chemol SA, Expharm SA and Almirall SA in Chile, as well as President of GdS SAS. Currently, he acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Plafin SA UNIP. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.
