Biography
PHD in Industrial Engineering from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of Barcelona. He has been Chairman-Chief Executive Officer of Almirall since 1988, having previously held various directorship positions in the company since he joined in 1965. He was President of EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) between 1998 and 2001, and is currently a member of its Board. He was also President of Farmaindustria between 1993 and 1995, and most recently between 2002 and 2004, while he is currently Vice President.
