Pezo Davinson

Biography

I am specialist in the optimisation of analytical methods with different types of instruments for the instrumental analysis and different techniques of extraction or microextraction in liquid or solid phase, from simple measurements to the more complex analyses by mass spectrometry coupled to different types of equipment such as gas chromatography or liquid chromatography. I have worked in the University of Zaragoza for almost 10 years and I have constantly contributed to different scientific publications in the field of development of new analytical methods. I have also worked in private industry in Italy in a framework of the European "Marie Curie" project. There I have shared my knowledge in the extraction and identification of volatile and non-volatile compounds coming from the adhesives used in multilayer laminate for food applications. I have also worked in R & D in the pharmaceutical industry in the degradation analysis of active compounds for pediatric uses. I have two works recognized by the Spanish Society of Analytical Chemistry (SEQA) and some scholarships granted by the government to continue my studies. I have contributed into the organisation and development of many research projects in the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the University of Zaragoza. I have been living in Australia for 6 months where I have studied English in order to improve my language skills.
