Biography
Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1984. Later, he began his training in ophthalmology at the Barraquer University Institute and continued as an Internal Medical Resident (MIR) at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre. He finished the grade in Optometry at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 1997. He received his Master in pathology and eye surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1998. In 2007 he obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (PhD) from the Autonomous University Barcelona with the qualification of Excellent "Cum Laude". Since completing his training as an ophthalmologist develops his professional career in the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre.
