Biography
Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona (1998), specialist in Ophthalmology (2003). Also in 1999 he graduated in Optometry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He sub-specialized in anterior segment surgery and glaucoma. He is on the faculty of the Institut Universitari Barraquer, and acts as coordinator of glaucoma sessions taught at the Centre. He has participated in numerous studies of glaucoma medications, evaluating its effectiveness and safety, as well as different surgical techniques for the treatment of glaucoma.
