Biography
Dr. Asunción MartÃnez Fernández holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada (1999). He completed his specialty in Otorhinolaryngology at Hospital ClÃnico Universitario de Granada (2000-2004). PhD in Medicine from the University of Granada (2006) with her thesis titled: Comparison of the auditory threshold obtained by means of auditory potentials of stable state, pure tone audiometry and brainstem potentials, with the qualification of Outstanding "Cum Laude". Co-director of doctoral thesis "Comparison in different surgical techniques for the treatment of nasolacrimal obstruction". Inventor of New Surgical Technique: International Patent: Methot of Intracanalicular Laser Dacryocystorhinostomy, Patent US Patent No. 20070005120 A1. Professor of several practical theoretical courses of advances in otology taught in the Faculty of Medicine of Granada. Honorary Collaborator in the doctoral program "Scientific bases of research in medicine at the University of Córdoba (2007-2009).
