Biography
He was born in Albacete in 1975. He holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) (1997) and Doctor in Organic Chemistry from UCLM (2002). His doctoral thesis was "Synthesis and optical properties of π-conjugated dendrimers", this work being an extraordinary doctoral award in 2003. As a researcher, he has been in the Supramolecular Chemistry group of Prof. Bert Meijer at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU / e) (Netherlands) and in the research group of Prof. Richard M. Crooks at Texas A & M University ( USES). In 2005, he joined the UCLM as a researcher Ramón y Cajal in the area of ​​Organic Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of Ciudad Real and since 2009 is Professor of Organic Chemistry of this University. In 2010 he was awarded the Luisa de Sigea prize for best young investigator in Castilla-La Mancha, and at the same time he moved to Albacete to the Faculty of Pharmacy where he served as Secretary of the center until 2014.
