Biography
María Victoria is Temporary Doctor Contracted Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). Since joining UCLM, he is part of the research group "Cellular Neurobiology and Molecular Chemistry of the Central Nervous System", working on the development of nanostructures for the transport of antioxidants in neurodegenerative processes. She graduated in Pharmacy from the University of Seville (2004) and received a PhD from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2009) after having worked in the research group of MJ Alonso, a researcher with great international prestige in the area of ​​Pharmaceutical Technology. His postdoctoral activity was developed mainly at University College London (UK) in the group of Dr. AG Schatzlein and Cat. IF Uchegbu (2009-2012), developing new nanostructures for the transport of drugs to the central nervous system. The scientific production of María Victoria is summed up in more than ten high impact scientific articles, several book chapters and a patent.
