Biography
Dr. Alino Martínez Marcos has a degree (1993) and Doctor (1998) in Biology from the University of Valencia. He teaches the subjects of "Human Anatomy I" and "II", "Morphology, Structure and Function Integrated of the Human Body" and "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Advances in Medical-Surgical Pathology". He has served as Postdoctoral Associate and Research Assistant Professor at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, Department of Anatomy, New York, USA (1997-2000). He has been Assistant Professor (2000), Associate (2001) and Holder (2003) of Anatomy and Human Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine of Albacete (UCLM). Godfather of the VI and I promotions, respectively, of the Faculties of Albacete and Ciudad Real. He has been Visiting Professor at the Downstate Medical Center of the State University of New York (USA) (2001) and in the Department of Physiology, Biophysics and Neurosciences of the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico (2001).
Research Interest
neuroanatomy of the limbic system, alterations in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's in the human brain and transgenic models.
