Biography
Dr. Ginés Laguna Urraca is an associate professor of the Nephrological Pathology course that is taught in the fifth year of the Medicine Degree in the Faculty of Medicine of Ciudad Real of the University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM). Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Specialist of Urology via MIR in the University Hospitals of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria and La Paz of Madrid (1980 - 1984). PhD and dissertation courses by the University of Granada (1990 - 1992). Faculty of Urology at the Hospital Ntra. Sra. De Alarcos and currently General University of Ciudad Real (HGUCR) ​​since 1990. Fellow of the European Board Urology (EBU) 1992. He has participated in the MIR training of Family Medicine since 1995. Responsible for Quality of Urology Service (1998 - 2000). Member of Clinical Commission of Hemotherapy (1997 - 2000), Tissues and Tumors (2007 - 2012) and Clinical Pathways in the HGUCR. (2007 - 2009). He is the author of several chapters of books, articles in national and international magazines. Principal investigator on funded research projects on disseminated prostate cancer. His research activity has focused on urological reconstructive surgery. Honorary fellow in the subject of Nephrological Pathologies in the Faculty of Medicine of Ciudad Real during the course 2014 - 2015.
