Biography
Dr. Francisco Feo Brito has a degree in Medicine from the University of Seville (1977) and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Córdoba (1997). Head of Allergology Section of the General University Hospital of Ciudad Real (HGUCR). He is the coordinator of Semiology. Principal investigator of the group "Alergia Ciudad Real", integrated as a clinical group in the Research Network of Adverse Reactions to Allergens and Drugs (RIRAAF), included in the RETICS of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III. Coordinator of the Aerobiology Committee of the Spanish Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SEAIC). Member of the Expert Group of the Observatory of Health and Climate Change of the Ministry of Health. He has been Assistant Professor of General Pathology and Clinical Propsychology at the University of Seville (1977-78), Chairman of the Research Commission (2003-07) and HGUCR Resident Tutor of Allergology (2007-2011). He has directed a Doctoral Thesis, master's and doctoral research works, and is co-director of five PhD theses. His research activity has focused on the atmospheric analysis of pollens, fungi, allergenic components and their relevance in respiratory allergy. Bronchial asthma and environmental pollution. Occupational asthma. Immunotherapy. He has published more than 40 scientific articles and book chapters, 6 papers and 80 papers to national and international congresses.
