Biography
Dr. Pedro Zorrilla Ribot is the coordinator of the subject Pathology of the Locomotor Apparatus and Urgencies, which is taught in the fifth year of the Degree of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine of Ciudad Real, University of Castilla-la Mancha (UCLM). Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza (1987) and PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Alcalá de Henares (2001). Head of Section of Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery of the General University Hospital of Ciudad Real (HGUCR) ​​and current Service Coordinator. Tutor of Residents of Traumatology of the HGUCR since 2011. His research activity has focused on the perioperative of prosthetic surgery of large joints, having received funding through the Feca Fiscam in 1999 and the Independent Research Grant in 2010. He has published 16 scientific articles and 2 book chapters, 10 papers and 28 communications to national and international congresses.
