Biography

Doctor in Ecclesiastical History from the Gregorian University of Rome and Doctor in Modern History from the Complutense University of Madrid. Scientific researcher of the Institute of History of the Center of Human and Social Sciences of the CSIC . Academic Correspondent of the Royal Academy of History (link is external) Academician of the Ambrosian Academy of Milan (link is external) and Member of the Spanish Commission of Military History (link is external). He has received the national awards "Army" (1993 and 2003) and "Virgen del Mar" (1994) of the Ministry of Defense, and the international prize "Roberto Bellarmino" (1998) of the Gregorian University of Rome.
