Biography
Doctor in Geography from the Complutense University, he is a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Economics, Geography and Demography of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). He is responsible for his research group. He has been Associate Professor in the Department of Geography of the University of Alcalá between 1989 and 2000. During the last 10 years, he has taught in 29 Master, Master and post-graduate courses at the Universities of Alcalá, Zaragoza, Castilla- La Mancha, Polytechnics of Madrid and Cartagena, Complutense of Madrid and University of Azuay (Ecuador).
