President of the Spanish Byzantine Society (Spanish section of the International Association of Byzantine Studies), from 2009 to 2016. Secretary of the New Rome collection. Bibliotheca graeca et latina Aevi Posterioris, published by the CSIC, from 1996 to 2015. Member of the editorial committee of these magazines: Erytheia, Nea Rhome, Medioevo Greco, Troianalexandrina and Segno e Testo . Member of the Editorial Committee of these collections: "Byzantinisches Archiv" (De Gruyter, since 2015), "Oriental Christian Texts of the Library of Christian Authors" (since 2015).
