Biography
Esther Hernández is a Tenured Scientific Researcher in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) since 2009. She is a member of the Research Group “Cognition and Language Variation” in the Center of Human and Social Sciences (CCHS). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Philology (Universidad Complutense de Madrid 1987), and a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics (State University of New York at Albany 1993). She was a Teaching Assistant in SUNY from 1988 to 1991, and a Postdoctoral Researcher in CSIC from 1994 to 1998. She was a Tenured Researcher in CSIC from 1998 to 2009.
