Biography
I was born in Seville in 1984 and I am a senior scientist at the ILC of the CSIC since March 2017. I graduated in Classical Philology from the University of Seville in 2007 (First National Award); then I got a JAE-Predoc scholarship and contract to carry out my doctoral thesis at the CCHS on the unpublished theological writings of Isaac Newton (Seville, 2011, awards from the Pastor Foundation and the Spanish Society of Classical Studies). Since then I have worked mainly in the edition and study of neo-Latin texts belonging to the fields of Radical Reformation and Early Enlightenment, which approach the history of Christianity and Biblical exegesis from a heterodox perspective. In this field, works such as those of Newton and Miguel Servet are intertwined with those of other authors of precarious and poorly known existence.
