Biography
After graduating from Barcelona, ​​Dr. Jordi Rius went to the United States where he served as Head of the Ward at Jackson Memorial Hospital and then moved to Georgetown Medical Center, Georgetown University, Washington DC. In Spain, he was founder and director of the Coronary Unit of the University Hospital of Valle Hebrón. Since 1995 he has been part of the Cardiology Service of Teknon Medical Center. He has a personal affiliation with Dr. Valentin Fuster, director of the Cardiovascular Institute at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. FACC (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology) President of ACARD ACARD is an association that welcomes coronary patients: patients who have suffered a myocardial infarction, had a Stent, or have undergone coronary by-pass surgery.
